Tori Miki

was born on Feb. 23rd 1958 in Hitoyoshi city, Kumamoto pref. In 1979, won Shonen Champion magazine's Manga New Face Award by "Boku no Uchujin"(My Alien), which was inserted on the magazine. He has been drawing gags, essay-comics, serious Mangas, on magazines for boys to science fiction class-magazines. Won Seiun Award on 1994 by "Dai-Hon'ya"(Big Book Shop--story written by Takita Kansei), Bunshun Manga Award on 1995 by "Tooku he Ikitai"(Want to Go Afar--still continuing on TV Bros magazine). Likes to record broadcasted crimes, accidents and disasters on video, play tennis(though awkwardly), collect photos of Ojigibito(characters on signboard announcing 'under construction'). Favorite musician: Brian Wilson. Favorite actress: Harada Tomoyo. Piscean. Blood-type O. Wrote the scenario for the next Patlabor series movie "Scrappage 13"
