Tetsu Yano

was born on Oct. 10th 1923 in Matsuyama city, Ehime pref. Spent child days in Kobe city. Studied in Chuoh University for 3 years. Was drafted by Japanese Army, and experienced Cavalry Regiment days for two years two months. Was the SFWJ chairman (about 20 years ago).

Works as a writer

"The Sword of Kamui"
"Legend of the Paper Spaceship"
"442 Regimental Combat Team"
and many others.

Works as a translater

Many works by Robert Heinlein, Frederik Pohl, Desmond Bagley and others. Translated about 360 books.
